Keep in mind bonding can take a long time, and can vary depending on your bunnies personality, some may take a few weeks, while more timid ones can take months, so don’t worry if it takes a long time. here are the steps you can take to bond

Get down to their leval so you don’t loom over them, this will make you seem less intimidating, and speak to them softly. This will help them get used to your scent, and reaize your not a threat.

Let them come to you. Dont try to pick them up or touch them. Sit down to their leval in the same room as them, and wait for them to come sniff you. Don’t make sudden movements, or loud noises. Try to offer healthy treats to tempt them to come closer.

Try hand feeding. Once your rabbit is comfortable coming near you, try to see if they will eat out of your hand.

Pet them. Try to pet your bunny, but make sure you know where they like to be touched, it can vary from bunny to bunny, but generally they like to pet around their back, cheeks, shoulders, forehead, or behind their ears. They dislike being pet around their chin, tail, tummy, feet, or back.

Try to play with them. Bunnies like nudging balls, so you can roll around a ball with them, or try other activities with them.

Bonding with your rabbit When you bring your rabbit home, he or she will probably be stressed at first, and not be comfortable with you.
